Development services for State Prison #7 included site civil engineering for a 1,500 bed, Phase I Prison Facility near Indian Springs, Nevada. Scope of work included schematic design, wastewater treatment alternatives study, drainage study, offsite water storage reservoir, water pump station, and site grading and utilities.
State Prison #8 civil engineering services were in connection with a 103-acre maximum security state prison facility located in the High Desert Prison complex in Indian Springs, Nevada. The facility will house 1,500 inmates in six housing units with support buildings including a regional medical facility, food service building, warehouse, central plant, administration building, education facility and visitor center.
Civil plans included design of the grading plan, a detailed cut-fill analysis, design of the perimeter security and inner service road, design of the water, sewer and storm drain systems, full coordination with the CW/HW lines, power and communication conduits, fire lines and various security detection devices and perimeter fences. A Technical Drainage Study, a Sewer Collection Analysis, and Water Network Analysis were also prepared for the State Public Works Board.
